Bar chart showing quality of fit by item
Quality of Fit by Item (0 - not grouped, 1- poor fit, 2 - good fit, 3 - perfect fit)

This Excel analysis was produced from a SynCaps item output file (using the sample data provided with the program). The values are calculated by averaging the quality of fit for each item across all groups. In theory it is possible to get a result of zero if an item does not appear or only appears in single-item groups (by itself).

The low score for Beaujolais occurs because the name of the group provided to participants was "full-bodied red wines" (Beaujolais is a red wine, but probably one of the lightest available). The lowest value, for Pinot Grigio, is as a result of paricipants not recognizing the term and either giving it a low quality of fit (a QOF score of 1) or leaving it out altogether (resulting in a zero QOF score).
