WordEke

WordEke on a phone: the status band reading UK Elementary, 5 of 37 words and a score of 14%, five found words listed, and a four by four grid of letters shaded in blue with a count in each square's corner.

Trace words across a grid of letters. New boards each day, the same for everyone.

WordEke was originally conceived as an example of multi-platform mobile development for a course William was writing on the subject. It used PhoneGap and was written entirely in JavaScript. It ran on Android, iOS, and Windows Phone.

The game has now been completely revamped and improved with many player-oriented features such as daily games, hints, game sharing, and more. The app is free, with no advertising. Add-ons (such as themes, custom games and extra dictionaries) are available as single purchases (no subscriptions).
